Interesting thoughts brought to mind. Awareness of birds and their place in our ecosystem is thought provoking. Our incarcerated young men often ask “don’t the birds know they are free?” as they fly over the fence to live inside with them. Maybe birds would make more sense of the world if we truly asked them.
